West Shore Fire, Inc. Shipping and Return policy

At West Shore Fire, Inc. we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality service and support. We have provided our shipping and return policy below. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Shipping Policy:

  • Most orders placed before 1PM EST will ship the same business day if the product is in stock.
  • If the order is unable to be processed and shipped the same day and is listed as "In Stock" the order will be shipped within 24 hours from time of order.
  • All orders placed on Friday will be shipped Monday or the next business day if a holiday is the next day.
  • All Special Order pieces will be shipped upon arrival of the product or as requested by the purchaser.
  • Saturday delivery is only available upon request. For Saturday delivery please contact us at 800-632-6184.
  • Customer has 3 business days to report any missing or damaged parts from date of receiving any merchandise.
  • Shipping Time is calculated in BUSINESS DAYS, and does not include Saturdays, Sundays, and/or FEDEX/UPS shipping holidays.
  • West Shore Fire, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason.

Damaged/Lost/Delayed Shipments:

West Shore Fire, Inc. is not responsible for items that may be damaged, or lost by the shipping company, or "carrier" (FedEx, UPS). All shipments are fully insured with the respective carrier. All products and packaging should be carefully inspected upon receipt and any damage should be brought to the carrier's attention. If necessary, purchaser should alert the carrier and West Shore Fire, Inc. that a claim needs to be filed for that shipment. Once a claim is approved and processed by the carrier, our shipping department will then ship out a replacement or refund the purchase price. West Shore Fire, Inc. has no control over the timeliness of the shipments and cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the carrier. If necessary, West Shore Fire, Inc. will aid in the filing of an appropriate claim with the carrier in the event of loss, damage, or shipping delay.

Non Defective Returns:

All non defective equipment can be returned for full credit of the merchandise within 30 days of purchase. The following guidelines must be met for consideration of return.

  • Must contact our offices within 30 Days of date of receipt. We do not accept returns after 30 days. No exceptions unless pre-authorized.
  • Must have a valid Return Authorization Number. To get a Return Authorization Number please contact our offices at 800-632-6184. Please have original paper work at time of call.
  • All returns must be post marked within 5 business days from the issue date of the Return Authorization Number. Packages not post marked within 5 business days of issue date of the Return Authorization Number may be rejected by the returns department.
  • Equipment must not be altered or tampered with in attempts to modify.
  • The box must not be damaged or cut. Original merchandise box must not be defaced or altered in any way.
  • All returned merchandise must be in original carton with all manufacturers included accessories, manuals and instructions. Missing accessories will result in non-credit.

Credits will be posted to the appropriate account within 14 business days of receipt of equipment. Packages should be mailed to the address below with the Return Authorization on the outside of the box.

Defective Equipment - Any goods which prove to be defective within 30 days of delivery may be exchanged for a replacement of the same model (with the exception of products containing bulbs). After 30 days all equipment warranty is only valid through the manufacturer. The following guidelines must be met for consideration of return.

  • Contact our offices within 30 Days at 800-632-6184 for a return authorization number. No returned merchandise will be accepted without a valid return authorization number on the shipping label.
  • All defective returns must be post marked within 5 business days from the issue date of the Return Authorization Number. Packages not post marked within 5 business days of issue date of the Return Authorization Number may be rejected by the returns department.
  • All returned merchandise must be in original carton with all manufacturers included accessories along with the manuals and instructions. Missing accessories will result in a charge of the actual replacement cost of those items.
  • The box must not be damaged or cut. Original merchandise box must not be defaced or altered in any way. Merchandise initially returned as defective, whose defect cannot be verified, will incur a freight charge for replacement shipment.
  • If merchandise returned as defective proves to not be defective a representative will contact the customer to either send the unit back to the customer or restock the item. Any return shipping charges paid by West Shore Fire, Inc. for equipment that proves to not be defective will be deducted from the amount credited to the customer account for the return.
  • Merchandise initially shipped 'double-boxed' must be returned to West Shore Fire, Inc. in like fashion. The order will be processed once we have received the defective equipment. West Shore Fire, Inc. will pay shipping costs for replacement merchandise.

* Please note that customer has 3 business days to report any missing or damaged parts from date of delivery. All defective reshipments will be sent UPS Ground. Customers can upgrade the defective reshipment at their cost upon request. A hold will be placed on the purchasers' credit card for the amount of the replacement part. Once the returned equipment is received by our warehouse the hold will be released.

Properly returned defective merchandise will be replaced without a charge as long as all parts, accessories, and manuals are returned in proper fashion. Any merchandise that arrives damaged requires special attention. In the event this occurs, please call immediately. If you have any questions, please call us toll free at 800-632-6184.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL BOXES WITH THE MANUALS, INSTRUCTIONS AND ACCESSORIES IN ORDER TO ACCEPT ANY RETURNS. ANY EQUIPMENT NOT RETURNED IN THE ORIGINAL UNALTERED BOXES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR RETURN.
